If you're looking for the ten consecutive years that have produced the best (popular) music since, say the end of the 2nd World War, I give you 1964 - 1973. There were certainly excellent pieces created either side of those times, but, collectively, that's the "decade" that does it for me.

Start sliding the dates either way and you'll have to start trading off real classics at either end.

Darlo

Its clearly the 70s, a golden decade, from the greats of rock to disco, punk, reggae, Dillon, Bowie an unbelievable amount of talent and originality

Its a slippery slope JW.
One day its forgetting why you walked into a room, the next its keeping a spare draw of pens and greetings cards. Old age is scary

I am sorry, despite my terrible grammar and bad English I do prefer to be polite and hide rude words even if slightly.
It has been a wonderful day to be a West ham fan and I am in no mood to be a mad monkey not tonight, and I do not think you are a C... I do not even know you.

I think I was trying to be sarcastic to your previous comment that is all.
I am not a fan of people who think they are superior just because they know how to write correctly I would never dream of correcting anyone, what you did was far worse you corrected me and called me stupid too which I felt was uncalled for.
Anyway, You are happy I am Happy we beat Man City did we not , it is simply all about West Ham, fuck the rest and Goodnight.

Your obviously right, forgive me old chap my first language is Swahili.

If I tell you that your not the first person to correct me on the moot point thing I have made that mistake before, but there is surely no need to be a Cnut about it.

I bow to your undoubted knowledge of the English Language and how it should be spoken.
